The Cursed Prince

When Chem, the crown prince of the Hivite town of Shechem, frustrates the teachings of Ibish, their city’s High Priest, he lays a curse on him.

The curse comes in the form of a lovely young maiden, Dinah, the daughter of a wealthy nomadic man with many sons and a huge flock of sheep and cattle. Chem’s unplanned night with her unknowingly transgresses the laws of the God of her father, and sets the curse of the high priest in motion.

But Chem is a man in love, and nothing will deter him from the path he has chosen. Not the wrath of Baal, the god of his parents, nor the warning of an angry brother who tells him to steer clear of his sister.
